When is Bluehost going to make the announcement that when a customer changes his/her password it will stop emailing the password to the customer. This is particularly stupid since the customer created the new password, so it makes no sense at all for Bluehost to give the customer the new password, since Bluehost just received the new password from the customer. This proves how unnecessary it is for Bluehost to send customers their new password.
Passwords are highly vulnerable to hacking, this is the exact reason why Bluehost gives a security rank of a chosen password when choosing a password. So Bluehost is conrtradicing itself when it requires a passoword that’s very difficult to figure out and then sends the secure password by non encryted email.
Bluehost wants you to accomodate them by getting a email just for the password. Email is email and it’s all hackable. Asking a customer to get a separate email just for your new passowrds is a vey lame distraction tactic and rude.
The real reason Bluehost desperately tries to avoid this subject is becuase their change of password program is depedant on the programming they have for people who lost their password. In other words, Bluehost requires people who want to change their password for security reasons to accomodate people who lost their password. Nothing could be more stupid.
